Okay first off: it is very delicate, this is obviously not for everyday wear as an adult, as for a kid, maybe if they are very gentle with it. It looks cheap but it is ultimately real silver, it has a very elegant shine although the weight is very light. The amethyst is very pretty, especially for it being lab made. Cubic zirconia.. ehhh it's pretty good, but between the two the star ofthe show is obvious. All in all this is a very pretty gift, I would most definitely recommend, but still, be very gentle with it! And I wouldn't expose it to the elements too much. You can see the size comparison to the quarter in the product images.I like the appearance and the quality but wish the pendant was just scaled a bit larger.The necklace was beautiful and great quality. It made for an amazing gift and my recipient could not be happier. The added touch of the birthstone is what pushed it over the top.
