This is truly beautiful in person. I gave it to my daughter for her upcoming wedding. It's heavy solid well made & very shiny. I'm glad I bought it.Overall it’s pretty cool. The mirrors could have been a little better but it is fully functionalI wanted something my daughter can use instead of jewelry or a knick knack lol... this is very nice. The closure is nice and the mirrors are perfect for a compact.Nice little gift to give your daughter right before you walk her down the aisle.The image shows the item as silver the top part of mine looks like pink or maybe it's a bit tarnished.The inscription is very nice but the overall size is fairly small but I gave it to my daughter on her wedding day and she loves it. The clasp seems quite flimsy but I guess this is now going to be more of an ornament than a daily use compactWas a gift and it was beautiful but it seems that it was not everything I had hoped for because there was barely any thanks or reflection on the gift but the message was a point to be made and it set the bar for a start to implement a underlined respect on any gift to come. This was a perfect gift.I gave this to my niece as part of a high school Graduation gift. She's going 8 hours from home, down to the USA for University in the fall. I wanted something that was personal & this was a hit. This compact mirror is well made. The actual mirror inside is good quality & looks like it will last. The engraving is nicely done, an elegant writing style and easy to read. My sister initially thought I bought it at a jewelry store and had it engraved. It has a little button at the bottom that you press to pop it open and it clicks securely shut. I'd say it weighs about 1/3 as much as an iPhone, the materials are a lot better than expected. Very pleased with this purchase.Very happy with the quality. Loved the size - perfect size to fit into small purse.
